A very belated but happy new year to the  readers of the site and fans of the team.As usual there has been a distinct lack of reporting from me....This is due to the incredibly busy winter that the team and i have had.
Obviously as most of you will have seen the car has been in the media a little. The latest was of course Max Power magazine, although there have been features in Street racing mania(french),Dragster DE(germany) and RPM magazine(Canadian) as well.As of writing there are more either done or waiting to be done. There are plans to do some special stuff very soon and later in the year that i will announce as soon as it's confirmed.
On the sponsor front all of our current sponsors are staying with us for 2007.New to the team are Powerpour which was announced on Eurodragster in the week....They are one of the items we use that is instrumental in keeping the engine together with the use of pump fuel.Thank you to Jon Webster for having faith in our team and the progress we have made....... There will be another announcement very shortly on another new sponsor.Keep checking back as i will be updating on a more regular basis before the start of the season.
On the car front we haven't had to do too much as we'd pretty much got everything sorted at the end of last season.Things we have done is to put on a 3rd Aeromotive pump to allow us to turn the boost up.We felt the engine struggling for fuel as we approached 20psi which stopped us going any faster in 2006.Now we have the extra fuel capacity the car will be turned up in anger....... We've also uprated the braking system. It was getting a bit of a struggle to stop the car with the single piston calipers and solid discs,so we've invested in a set of Hi-Spec 4 pot calipers and vented discs(see photo) If they work as well as they look then we'll be stopping on a sixpence.......

Of course Nigel has been fettling all the pipework to keep it all shiny and show looking.Apart from that it's just been a checking exercise too make sure there's nothing to stop us from beginning the season in the way we left off.Unfortunately because of the ridiculous vote at the S/E agm banning MT radials i've had to swop over to the BFG radial, although even if they'd voted to bring in wooden wheels the car would be going fast...you see it's the ENGINE that makes it go fast..... Fortunately for everything else we'll be on proper MT 325 radial tyres. That includes the Explosive car tuning show in Holland in a couple of weeks,The Main Event and Euro finals,The King of Europe event in Poland, the Performance Vauxhall show, the Retro rides show at Mallory park and Trax at Silverstone. These are the booked shows at the moment. There will be others that are being finalised at the time of writing.
Finally as an aside to racing we took a little family holiday to Finland before xmas to see our good friend Jouni Enqvist.I must admit we all enjoyed the break...Jouni and his wife Marika were perfect hosts because we wanted for nothing. We also got to meet up with a couple of guys whom we met last year at Billing called Timppa and Marko(they're all nuts about Vauxhalls...)......I've put up a couple of pictures of them and Jouni's family so you can get to know them......
