thanks to Knight Racing Services..
The weekend has been spent getting the new engine together.Pretty much everything went to plan apart from one crank journal needed a little off it to get the right clearance.Big thanks to Jason at JH precision grinding in Lutterworth for delaying going on holiday to help us out.If you need the best crank grinding service at reasonable cost give him a call on 07706 008014.The only other thing to sort out was the cam drive for the oil pump.As usual i got Nigel out of bed on a Sunday to help out...sorry mate..The rest of the engine was routine stuff, mostly handled superbly by Tim Jackson at Knight Racing Services.Hats off to Tim for giving up his weekend to help out building the engine and to Pete for allowing me the full use of the workshop. Not only that but he also got all the parts within 2 weeks!! Now THAT'S service.. All that is left is the oil pan mods(Nigel again!!) and the pushrods(due on monday). We're undecided wether to put the engine on the dyno N/A to check for leaks and break the engine in,.There's quite a bit of work involved in that.I'll leave the decision to Pete...... Stay tuned....
