Obviously I'm updating this page regularly..NOT.. 1 year on and a lot of water has flowed under the bridge for the Redvictor 2 team.Of course 2005 started with the WSR and victory for the UK team over the USA and Canada. This will remain one of the highlights of my drag race career.I met so many great people from those 2 countries who will remain friends for a very long time.A huge thank you to all the people who were involved in that historic race.... The rest of the season was just a continuous high. The first 3 S/E meeting were missed so the championship was not an issue. We just went out to enjoy the year really...and that we certainly did. Out of 4 rounds we got to 3 finals,2 of which were wins.Unfortunately we were denied a 3rd victory after a 10p gasket failed on the startline allowing water to leak from the engine.Still a runner up in the S/E championship was a welcome bonus... Also in this year Redvictor 2 appeared in a 118 118 TV advert on national TV,and from that we were invited to the NEC for the Classic car show by the Vauxhall FD register. www.vauxhallfdregister.co.uk At the moment I am well into the twin turbo conversion.Altiss Engineering has Redvictor 2 in it's workshop and is crafting all the parts as we speak.(I have posted a couple of progress pics for you to see.)Steve from MPS will be here at the end of Jan to wire the Electromotive EFI and the engine should be on the dyno at the end of Feb.Hopefully some the companies I'm talking to at the moment will be on board for the 2006 season, I will let you know as soon as I have confirmation. Of course we wouldn't be able to race if it wasn't for sponsors(old and new) really helping us out.A big thanks go to these companies and people who have really helped the project along so far. Jon and Ian at Webster Race Engineering Knight Racing Engines Martin Taylor/Holset turbos Nigel Colwell at Altiss Engineering Steve at Mechanical power systems in Canada . Marty Chance at Neal Chance Racing Converters One event I am doing this year is the "King of Europe" in Belgium.I was really disappointed in 2005 not to be able to make it due to engine woes. It's a given in 2006 that we'll be there challenging for that title....of course the other S/E boys that are going will also be challenging.I'm looking forward to it.. See you all at the track.. In the meantime check out these pictures
