We could have done so much more........ Unfortunately after a 1500km drive and a 7 hr ferry trip the KOE wasn't a success for the team.Unable to get any traction at all meant that the best time we did was a 9.3 @ 175mph.This was good enough to get us into the RWD final but not anywhere near good enough to beat Christell racing's stunning 8.6.The KOE finals itself saw us facing the 4WD Corvette with Grzegorz Staszewski driving.I know we beat him off the line(like we did to every one) but with the right lane being even worse than the left i had no chance of even putting my foot fully on the throttle at any part of the track(.I know that Grzegorz ran a Polish record on that run of 9.0 so congrats to him and all the winners) We found out after some head scratching that the rebuilt front shocks are again seized.Looks like WRE are having the car asap to put that right once and for all. Other than that we met a lot of new friends from all over Europe, and showed the Polish people(who already knew the car) the car for real.Everytime we took the car to the staging area they were 3 deep taking photos. So summing it up..... lots of new friends,a car in one piece(something i thought wouldn't have happened after going down the track),i found out the truck survives being thrashed for 500km to catch the ferry, and i'm totally used up after this trip. Lastly a big shout out for the organisers and track crew who did their best with a difficult and frustrating situation, and my long suffering crew chief Tony Grayston and his young lad Jake who got burnt to a crisp and endured my mad driving back to the ferry...lol.... I'll get some pics up later... See you all soon,ANDY..
