As a lot of folk know we damaged the engine in a BIG way at the PV08 show, this after running our best ever numbers(7.66 @191mph) on a real lazy tune up.Unfortunately the engine decided to eat itself on the very next run.It was very disappointing for us not to be able to take the winner of the raffle for a passenger ride.A big thanks to Jon Webster for stepping in and taking the winner down the track. Also a big thumbs up to all the folks who dug deep and put money in the bucket... Of course this had to happen now with just 1 week to the KOE and 5 weeks till the car gets on the boat to Canada and the WSR2.The KOE is off for us due to the time constraints. This leaves us to concentrate on getting the car done for the boat trip to New Brunswick. Tog at www.eurodragster.com as usual got the word out to everyone about our need for assistance.Upon this Paul Marston racing immediately offered me a block to get the build going.Pete Knight of www.knightracingservices.co.uk has already ensured that we get the rest of the parts ASAP so we can start the rebuild, and Tim Jackson has offered his help with the rebuild itself.Nigel at www.altiss,com after already spending all his time modifying and repairing the car before the PV show is readying himself again for another weekend of work. What has humbled me is the amazing amount of offers i've received, both financial and labour/parts wise via e-mail and phone, even from as far away as Germany!! I can't thank all of you folks enough for even thinking about helping the team out.We certainly hope to do you all proud at the event. ANDY
